I want every teen to challenge themselves to finish the Faith2Faith course! It takes commitment and a determination to get after God, but the dividends for seeking Him are too numerous to count. We offer Roots Discipleship and Leadership at various times in the year. Membership classes come up around every three months. Pastor Alan

The New Birth
Receiving Jesus Christ into your heart as your personal Lord and Savior is the act that gets you into the "boat"! Confessing Jesus Christ as Lord and believing that His death on the cross paid the price for your sins and that God raised Him from the dead for your justification is the New Birth. Getting in the "boat" is only the first point in navigating the course that God has mapped out for every person. The next three points empower youth to get on course and stay the course.

Membership
The Word is very clear that being a "member" of the local church does not equal nor is it required for salvation. However, successfully navigating the course that God has ordained for your life requires commitment to the local church. For this reason, this point in the course has been designed to not only cover the church as a whole, but to highlight the youth ministry of Life Church. Commitments from the church to the member and from the member to the church are all outlined in this part of the course. The Map, otherwise known as "the vision of the house," is also laid out at this point.

Roots Discipleship
Roots Discipleship is an eight-week course designed to take each participating youth to new levels of faith in their spiritual journey. The classes are about an hour and a half long consisting of Bible teaching, discussion, and prayer. Requirements for completion include all of the following: attending (on time) and participating in all eight classes, bringing at least one unsaved visitor to RealifeYouth Church at some point during the eight weeks, and making a public pledge before the church body to abstain from sex before marriage and drug and alcohol abuse. This point in the Faith2Faith course truly is designed for spiritual growth.

Leadership Training
The course wouldn't be complete without Leadership. This part of the course is designed for those who really want to put their faith in action. The leadership team is the part of the Youth Church that makes the ministry flourish. The greatest amount of commitment comes with this position, but it also carries with it special privileges. It is necessary to have navigated the first three points in the Faith2Faith course, as well as this last point: Leadership Training. This point in the course consists of four leadership classes, one written essay, one outlined sermon to be shared in class, heading up an STS Day, regular evangelism, reading the book "I Kissed Dating Goodbye," and committing to live that type of lifestyle while in leadership, and one interview with the Youth Pastor to be completed by the end of the four weeks. Leaders must commit to attend our periodic leadership meetings.
