Dear Church Family,

We are so thankful for all the tremendous blessings we have received from the Lord and all the lives changed since the beginning of Life Church in 2001.  We have used His resources wisely and faithfully for His purposes.  The time has now come for us to extend our borders and enlarge our tent!
Our desire has always been and continues to be to bring the life of God to the lives of people.  It is our awareness of eternity and the love of Christ that compels us to reach more people with the gospel of God’s grace.   We have been given a short period of time on the earth to invest our lives in God’s eternal kingdom to impact those for whom Jesus died.
As we venture into this new building project, we know that all things are possible with God.  All we do, we do for His glory – that the world might be won.  This is not a vision that one person will accomplish alone, but one that many, with united hearts, and cooperative efforts can achieve.  We don’t ask the question, “What can God do?”  But, “What can God do through me?”  As we all stretch and believe God together, He will command His blessing upon us! (Psalm 133)
Our expectation is that God will prosper each of our lives so that together we can complete this new facility.  Please read through this brochure, pray, and seek God as to what He would have you to do financially to help finish our new church building.  Together we can and together we will – because of eternity!

Project Description:

• Children and Youth Facilities

• Cafe

• Kitchen

• Expanded ministry areas for Authentic Life, Bible College, etc.

• Altar ministry room

• New sound, lighting, and video production

• Administration

• 600 seat auditorium (expandable to 800)

• Approximately 24,000 square feet

Project Cost:

Excluding the 5 acres of land, which will be offset by the sale of our current facility, we estimate the new building cost to be between 3 and 4 million dollars.  As we move forward with the plans and take into consideration the gift in kind opportunities, we will be able to narrow this projection much more.

Creative Ways to Give:

Cash Flow Gifts: Give on a weekly, semi-monthly, or monthly basis to allow larger gifts to be reached in smaller amounts.

Diverted Funds Gifts: Free up funds that are currently going to other areas of spending, such as entertainment, dining out, etc.

Delayed Expenditures: Maybe you can delay purchases to increase giving. For example, would it be possible to postpone buying a new car or taking your dream vacation for one more year?

Income from Assets: Consider giving interest income, payments from rental property, or income from other assets.

Sale of Assets: Think about selling assets like stocks, etc.  A “gift in kind” (transferring ownership rather than selling the asset and giving the cash) has tax advantages.  Consult your financial advisor.

Savings and Annuities: Consider whether a portion of your savings can safely be given to futher the work of God’s Kingdom.

Income-Producing Activities: Hold a garage sale, plan a fund-raiser, etc.

Corporate Gifts: If you own your own business, consider a corporate, tax-decuctible donation.

Believe God for Seed to Sow: 2 Corinthians 9:10 Now may He who supplies seed to the sower, and bread for food, supply and multiply the seed you have sown and increase the fruits of your righteousness. Just like we often trust God for our needs to be met, we can believe for Him to supernaturally provide money to give.

The Plan:

We will be receiving a special, initial offering on Saturday/Sunday, July 24-25, 2010, during the weekend services.  At that same time, we will also be receiving financial commitments for the next year toward the fulfillment of the project.

A financial commitment to Life Church is not a legally binding contract.  It is a personal commitment to the Lord.  If your financial situation changes, you may increase or decrease your giving level.  All building project giving should be above and beyond your normal tithes and offerings.

My one-year gift will be given as follows:

$_____________ Weekly

$_____________ Monthly

$_____________ Annually

$_____________Other

Gifts of real property, i.e., land, stock, vehicles, jewelry may be given by contacting the church office.
